The aim of this tutorial is to teach you one of the most important techniques used in electronic music – sidechain compression. You will need FL Studio 9 to follow the tutorial. As far as I know any previous versions do not have the sidechain option in the limiter. Here it is. NOTE: Fruity limiter's compression envelope will now be controlled by the sidechain Mixer track rather than the audio passing through Fruity Limiter's own Mixer track. Lower the Threshold below the input peaks and increase the Ratio and optionally Knee controls to engage the compression stage.
